About Raymond G Deegan

Raymond G Deegan I have been drawing since the age of 12 and continued to do so up until High School, then I attended a three year course at Studio 5316 in Montreal, Quebec, in Commercial Art from 1951 to 1953. Thereafter my interest turned to Oil Painting Classes in1961 in Two Mountains/Deux-Montagnes, Quebec, thereafter in 1995 when I moved to Mississauga, Ontario I continued to attend Art Schools in the Bob Ross system. When I moved to an adult retirement community I joined an art club and tried my hand in Acrylic Painting at the Sandycove Art Club "2018" located in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada. Now I found my enjoyment in water mixable oil painting. Effective July 8th,2020 I moved to Newcastle, Ontario were I joined the Gift of Art as a member, took some lessons but found my eyes (low vision) were not helping my artwork. Now I paint to the best of my ability. That's life. In June of 2022 I moved to an apartment in Courtice, Ontario where I hop it will be my final move. Life must go on with my low vision problems which makes painting very difficult. The future must go on.
